Our Team
Paul Mazzotta
Having graduated with Honours from the Humber College Industrial Design program in 2001, Paul has amassed over 20 years of experience working closely with industry leaders in the commercial office and healthcare furniture sector. In his early design career, Paul worked with a Toronto based consultancy that specialized in product development and detailing. During this period, Paul had the opportunity to work with numerous manufacturers such as Herman Miller, Gieger, HNI, Keilhauer and others. There, he learned the art and craft of building chairs and other architectural products.
In 2007, Paul branched off on his own and founded a design and development consultancy, Hub Design Studio. The ethos of Hub Design Studio has always revolved around the intention of providing refined solutions for every phase of a design process. This emphasis has enabled the studio to acquire a range of specialized equipment that helps at every stage of the project.
He particularly enjoys projects with limitations that create challenges and require innovative solutions and outside-the-box thinking. This approach has gained him success and recognition in the industry. As a result, Paul’s designs have been published in numerous publications and have received a number of awards including The Good Design Award, HiP Award, Best of Neocon, ADEX Award, CFYC Award, and Product Innovations Award.

From its inception, Intersection endeavored to create a dynamic, synergetic environment, where people enthusiastically delve into projects that encourage the essential discourse between culture and science through a design medium.
Aaron’s design work has received numerous awards such as the Good Design Award, Best of Neocon, and Best of Interior Design, as well as being featured in publications such as Azure, Metropolis, Contract, The Globe and Mail, and Interior Design. Most importantly, Aaron has been able to establish successful, collaborative relationships with some of the most prominent, design-conscious corporations and institutions in North America and abroad.
